Years ago, faced with uncertainty about my professional path, I shared my fears with my wife, Rebecca. After losing everything in the 2008–2011 market downturn while raising our five children, the prospect of starting over again was daunting. Her simple response—“Sounds like you need to start a gratitude journal”—changed everything. By focusing on the blessings of life, family, and purpose, my anxiety faded, and I found clarity to take the next step. That moment of gratitude became the foundation of Epic Capital Funds.
